आयुर्वेदिक तथा यूनानी तिब्बी चिकित्सा पद्धति बोर्ड, उत्तर प्रदेश

आयुर्वेद तथा यूनानी तिब्बी चिकित्सा पद्धतियों के विकास की व्यवस्था करने तथा उनके व्यवसाय को विनियमित करने हेतु सन् 1925 में स्व0 जस्टिस गोकरन नाथ मिश्र की अध्यक्षता में एक समिति गठित की गयी थी जिसकी संस्तुति के आधार पर सन् 1926 में भारतीय चिकित्सा बोर्ड की स्थापना कर भारतीय चिकित्सा प्रणालियों के विकास के लिए उपाय तथा साधन प्रस्तुत करने वैद्यों / हकीमों का रजिस्ट्रेशन करने भारतीय चिकित्सा प्रणालियों के अध्ययन व अभ्यास के सम्बंध में नियंत्रण करने का कार्यभार सौंपा गया। इस बोर्ड के प्रथम अध्यक्ष पं0 गोकरन नाथ मिश्र, चीफ जस्टिस (अवध) एवं सन् 1929 मे इस बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष जस्टिस सर सैय्यद वजीर हसन हुए जो सन् 1946 तक इस पद पर कार्यरत रहे।

यू0 पी0 इण्डियन मेडिसिन एक्ट 1939 दिनांक 1 अक्टूबर 1946 से लागू किया गया इस एक्ट के आधार पर बोर्ड के प्रथम चुनाव हुए एवं 1 मार्च 1947 को प्रथम बोर्ड गठित हुआ । इस बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष श्री आर0 बी0 धुलेकर शासन द्वारा मनोनीत किये गये। 1950 में द्वितीय चुनाव होने पर श्री कमला पति त्रिपाठी परिषद के अध्यक्ष हुए। श्री त्रिपाठी जी के त्याग पत्र देने पर श्री दरबारी लाल शर्मा परिषद के अध्यक्ष नामित हुए जो 18 वर्षों तक इस पद पर कार्य करते रहे। इस अवधि में परिषद में महत्वपूर्ण परिवर्तन हुए।

1956 में फैकल्टी की स्थापना हुई इसका कार्य सम्बद्ध शिक्षा संस्थाओं मे निर्धारित पाठ्यक्रम के अनुसार शिक्षा/परीक्षा की व्यवस्था करना निर्धारित किया गया। मार्च 1969 में श्री शर्मा जी के निधन के पश्चात् डा0 विश्वनाथ द्विवेदी परिषद के अध्यक्ष मनोनीत हुए। 1969 में परिषद का चुनाव होने पर नवीन परिषद गठित हुई जिसके अध्यक्ष श्री जगदीश्वर दयाल अग्निहोत्री, विधायक मनोनीत हुए। वर्ष 1975 में यू0पी0 इण्डियन मेडिसिन एक्ट 1939 में संशोधन कर डिग्री पाठ्यक्रम वि0वि0 को स्थानांतरित कर दिया गया तथा पैरामेडिकल कोर्स संचालित करने का अधिकार बोर्ड को दिया गया। कतिपय कारणों से वर्ष 1972 से वर्ष 2010 तक बोर्ड का विधिवत गठन नही हुआ। वर्ष 2011 में बोर्ड के चुनाव हुए तथा बोर्ड का विधिवत गठन हुआ।

Homoeopathic Medicine Board, (U.P)

After independence, Homoeopathy acts were executed in various states including Uttar Pradesh Homoeopathy Medicine Act 1951, Madhya Pradesh Homoeopathy Medicine Act 1953, Delhi Act 1956, Maharashtra Homoeopathy Act 1951, Bihar Homoeopathy Act 1953, West Bengal Homoeopathy Act 1963 and state governments accelerated the growth of Homoeopathy science. Other states also got influenced from the development oriented approach of these states and governments initiated making of Homoeopathy Acts. Homoeopathy councils were constituted and efforts made towards development of Homoeopathy science. This action resulted as a chain and gradually Homoeopathy acts were executed in other states too. In Chandigarh Homoeopathy council was established in 1970 and in Rajasthan Homoeopathy Act was passed and executed in 1973. Later central government also executed Homoeopathy Central Council Act in 1973 with the objective to ensure equality and uniformity in Homoeopathy education all over India. In this act, a special provision was added to register all the Homoeopathy doctors on a national platform. Now, these doctors can practice in other states with the consent of concerned state. The provision has been made with the vision to spread feel of socialism in all the Homoeopathy doctors. In present pattern, only those Homoeopathy doctors registered, who are enlisted and eligible according to the 2nd and 3rd Appendix of Central Homoeopathy Council Act 1973. In Uttar Pradesh, Medical Council was constituted in 1953 and under this council 13,251 doctors were registered based on their work duration till 1958.

About University

The University has been established by the Govt. of Rajasthan, under Ordinance 6 of 2007. It is a UGC recognized university as per Sec. 2f of the UGC Act 1956.
Singhania University is situated at Pacheri Bari, Distt. Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan) on the Delhi-Narnaul Singhana - Pilani Road. It is about 160 kms. west of Delhi and about 165 kms. north of Jaipur. The University can be reached either by rail or by road. The nearest railway stations are Narnaul (19 kms.) and Chirawa (45 kms.)
The campus that covers an area of about 30 acres of land is picturesque and away from the din of the metropolis. The serenity of the hill locks all around endow the campus with an ideal environment for education and research.
Singhania University came in existence by the inspirations of Smt. Narmada Devi Singhanaia, mother of the founder Shri. D.C. Singhania.
